Women for Zero Hunger is a Stop Hunger signature program in collaboration with Women in Africa. ​

In one year, Les Restos du Coeur distributed 170 million meals, 30 million more than the previous year. Terribly unacceptable figures!

On 11/12 July 2023, Richard, Oscar and Pelle, three happy, sporty and engaged Sodexo gardeners, will be climbing Kebnekaise, Sweden’s highest mountain, to help those in need as part of the Stop Hunger Servathon. And as Sodexo offers a day of volunteering to its employees, this brave trio have decided to pay tribute to Sodexo’s 422,000 employees by setting an objective of raising 422,000 SEK (€42,000).

Our Stop Hunger Whitepaper, “Food Insecurity: the urgent need for a paradigm shift”, composed with the contribution of the Agency Brunswick, was written in 2022 at the request of many Stop Hunger community members, partners and friends.

Each year, between the months of April and June, Sodexo employees worldwide join forces for the Stop Hunger Servathon to volunteer, raise money and donate food in their local communities.

Volunteering is at the heart of what we do. Congratulations to Monika, Tom, Paul, Kandice and Sévrine - our 2023 Stop Hunger Volunteer Awardees – in recognition of their engagement and commitment.

Our 4 women Laureates in the spotlight: Leading impactful women empowerment initiatives in Brazil, the US, Kenya and the Philippines, we celebrated the incredible work of Michelle, Stephanie, Doreen and Laure last Thursday evening. Across four different corners of the globe, they are contributing to a hunger free world, encapsulating our conviction that sustainable solutions to hunger are possible.

What a night! On Thursday 9 March, Stop Hunger gathered donors, partners, clients, friends and volunteers at the Seine Musicale to ‘Sow golden seeds’ and plant hope for the future.

Despite it being a challenging year, we are proud of our accomplishments and progress. We have continued to extend our outreach in terms of partnership and donors, which means we were able to support 11.9 beneficiaries this year and grant $6.2 million to our NGO partners. On top of that, our Women Empowerment Programs and Yeah! (Your Engagement Against Hunger) Missions have grown in impact.

In regards to the unprecedented cost of living crisis, for Stop Hunger and its founding partner, Sodexo, waiting and watching is not an option. We began 2023 by kicking off a global campaign ‘Show your Heart, Play your part’
