To ensure a regular income for a decent and active life, we must prioritize activities that transfer expertise, skills, training and professional integration, always in connection with food.

Elizandra’s story

One of Brazil’s largest favelas, the beautifully named Paraisópolis (“Paradise City”) has undergone a transformation. Elizandra Cerqueira is an emblem of this renewal. With her culinary training and community-focused urban garden programs, she helps women feed their families nutritious food and live off their work.
