Women In Africa WIA Summit 2018: Stop Hunger supports African women for a sustainable and hunger-free future!

  • International

We support the WIA Global Initiative because we share the same vision and desire to support the empowerment of African women and the development of their businesses.

Our participation at the WIA Summit in 2017 was an opportunity to meet committed women like:

Nonhlanhla Joye, creator of "Umgibe Farming Organics", a network of more than 50 market garden micro-cooperatives that provide a living for 3,000 township families. In three years, Nonhlanhla has built an ambitious socio-economic model that empowers women, thrives in schools and transcends the country's borders.

Nigest Haile Goshu, founder of the CAWEE NGO in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, who is helping to develop a network of women entrepreneurs, giving them access to training and export markets.

With the support of WIA, we are proud to have recognized Nigest Haile and Nonhlanhla in 2018 with Women Stop Hunger Awards, organized every year, to financially support tangible and sustainable women's initiatives on behalf of women!
