In 2017, thanks to the commitment of 82,000 volunteers, Stop Hunger operated in 41 countries, served over 6 million
meals (or meal equivalents1) to people in need and raised nearly US$6.3 million to help fund innovative projects to fight
hunger (more info about our actions).
Our objectives by 2020 are :
- 10 million meals (or meal equivalents 1) / year
- 10 million USD to continue funding projects 2 / year
- 200,000 volunteers, taking action locally 3
(1) "meal equivalent" means that we take into account all raw or cooked food collected in the world by Stop Hunger and convert it into number of meals served.
(2) This amount includes all funds available for Stop Hunger from individual donors, private companies and Stop Hunger founding companies.
(3) All volunteers who contribute in one way or another to Stop Hunger, including individuals or employees of Sodexo or other Stop Hunger partners companies.
Key Performance Indicators enable us to measure our efforts and guide our actions based on the results obtained.
