Servathon 2024

Between April and May 2024, nearly 2,500 volunteers wearing distinctive red Stop Hunger T-shirts shone as beacons of solidarity and generosity across six continents and 31 countries. Activities included running, raffles, gardening, mountain biking, baking cookies, planting trees, Zumba, and distributing food directly to people in need.

During the global campaign, $141,944 was raised and 461,125 beneficiaries received funds or food. To take just one example, the Servathon in China brought together 117 volunteers—employees of Sodexo as well as 40 clients and suppliers—for 1,900 hours of activity, including cycling and running events and a fundraising dinner to highlight public health in Shanghai. Together, the team raised an impressive €17,963 to support local food banks. Sodexo China then matched this amount to double the impact and reach even more people in need!
