New Community Garden in Ieramugadu

Elders passing on stories and knowledge. Families sharing meals and moments together. Young people finding inspiration and belonging. This garden is a living space for connection, culture, and resilience. Through Stop Hunger, and together with Sodexo Australia, we’re proud to support this vision with a $120,000 commitment over the next three years. We will work with NYFL to empower women, inspire indigenous younger generations, and strengthen community resilience for the future. We are grateful to NYFL and the Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi Elders for leading with wisdom, and to the Sodexo Australia volunteers who got their hands dirty to help make this possible. Because when communities lead, real change takes root - and it grows.
