Les Enfants de Kavresthali - Nepal
Claire Butez, winner of the 2022 Stop Hunger Women's Award and founder of Les Enfants de Kavresthali, is dedicated to empowering local farmers and artisans. Through her association, she fosters sustainable agricultural practices and supports income-generating initiatives within the community.
Thanks to the funds raised from the Stop Hunger Award, Claire was able to provide local farmers with beehives, fruit trees, and coffee plants - tools that promote long-term sustainability and self-reliance. Additionally, she invested in new equipment and upgrades for the sewing workshop, creating a supportive environment where artisans can further develop their skills and improve their livelihoods.
